Wind-power generation background

        In recent years, the world has to pay attention to carbon neutrality. According to the latest survey data from Energy & Climate think tank “Ember” wind-power generation account for 6.7% of global energy power generation by 2021. Renewable energy power generation compared to non-renewable energy power generation (oil, natural gas, nuclear energy... Etc.) is increasing year by year, while non-renewable energy is decreasing. Wind-power generation product requirements

Case study

        China has actively promoted green and low-carbon emission facilities in recent years and vigorously developed green industries such as wind power generation.

        Some customers said that because of the replacement of the converter, the new converter would cause the central control of the converter and the generator's main controller to be unable to communicate.

        The command between the converter and the generator will not be established if information failure is obtained. The customer is afraid that it will cause current and voltage output problems.

        In this case, the converter uses Profinet protocol, and the central controller of the generators uses Modbus communication; the two main controllers cannot communicate due to the different protocols.
